We are excited to announce Bushland an Australian adaptation of our audio work Woodland will debut at the Bundanon Trust’s annual Siteworks Festival, on Saturday 29th September 2018.

You can find info on the new piece and the full programme here.

About Siteworks and Bushland
Siteworks is Bundanon Trust’s annual spring event that brings scientists, artists and community voices together to share knowledge and ideas, arising from Bundanon’s remote and stunningly beautiful sites, through discussions, presentations and experiences.

This years festival is a invitation to look closely. Very, very closely. And turn attention on the miniature and the micro. The festival features responses from an amazing range of artists for whom little things – like tiny gods, dancing spiders, microbes in both the soil and your gut – mean a lot.

Bushland is adapted in collaboration with Australian forensic anthropologists and ecologists, and tells the story of your body’s decomposition into eucalyptus woodland. The work is presented in partnership with Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and the City of Melbourne through Arts House, Bundanon Trust, and Metro Arts in Brisbane, and is the latest addition to French & Mottershead’s Afterlife series.

Date & Time: 29 September, 12pm to 6pm
Venue: Bundanon Homestead, Riversdale, Illaroo, NSW 2540
