Take part in our Roaring workshop

Posted 15 March 2015 in Talks and Workshops

The ROARING workshop is a get together for a small group participants to all share experiences of street harassment, and be trained by a Voice Coach to stand strong, fill our lungs and ROAR, powerfully, for real.

Please share to those you think interested.

We are running a ROARING workshop as part of our research fellowship at The Bartlett (UCL), where we are looking at how people perform power in urban public space though street harassment – the everyday unpleasant and scary harassment that women and some men have to put up with on our streets. Often related to gender, race, religion, LGBT or age, it’s the staring, the catcalls and insults, the gropes, the ‘accidental touches’, the assumed access.

The workshop is free, but spaces are limited.

If you’d like to attend, please contact Rebecca on info[at]frenchmottershead.com
